Came to Australia with William Thornton on board the Anna Maria, that arrived in Sydney 20/6/1857. Sarah was 23 years of age when she left for Australia. Religion C of E Sarah, moved to Kelso, near Bathurst after the death of ther husband and resided with a family friend. While living at Kelso, she began house keeping duties for Samuel Barker, whose wife had recently passed away, leaving him with 3 children. |
